What do we need to buy? Make sure to mention the point-person for the item and any other useful info like where they can be found

  • knobbies for the joysticks for the remote controls (where to buy?) (how many?)
I don't think these are stock items. However they might be a fun project for rep-rap or makerbot or something... Jtfoote 06:23, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

  • 6 voltage boosters to run remotes off 2 AA nimh batteries properly (ask Jon)

Let's get one and try it. Sparkfun Jtfoote 06:23, 3 June 2009 (UTC) http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=9216

  • solder / tools / self-vulcanizing tape?
  • more kill switches? We found 4 or so... Rick L recommends "should be potted or find one's with just the wires coming out of the back. Those tabs are a major failure point."

  • steering pots: Jameco part number

https://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&pa=13995&productId=13995

  • more fakeys
  • Fuses(we only have 30 A ones)

Blinkyfence LEDs

Maybe we'll get color changing LEDs, maybe solid white... discussion ongoing --Lee 15:40, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

If you want your own color changing LEDs and batteries for your OWN blinkyfence, put your name and the # here:

  • 2032 batteries $0.20 each. Runs an LED for a couple days straight (via digikey)
  • Diffuse Color Changing LEDs $0.30 each (the diffuse ones are better, they make a point source of light rather than shine the light on another object (on ebay from "amigoofchina")
  • Clear LEDs are also available (on ebay)

Put your name and what you want here:

  • SWARM (Lee) 50 diffuse LEDs, 50 batteries
  • Jon 15 batteries being returned from loan
  • Mark Alexander - 20 diffuse LEDs, 20 batteries
